Journey Gospel Choir

Journey Gospel Choir is an Amsterdam gospel choir. At home on the festival stage and in the club.

We connect gospel with house. Not because it makes for an interesting concept, but because these genres speak the same language: collective power, rhythm as ritual, voices rising and taking people with them.

“House music is gospel music sped up and taken to the dancefloor.” — Marshall Jefferson · Chicago, 1986

You find us in theatres and concert halls, with audiences who understand us the moment they hear us.
